TITLE: Java Developer

Our client is looking for a JAVA DEVELOPER to design, build and deploy the algorithmic trading engine. This role will work alongside machine learning specialists, quants and other developers in an open, collaborative environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics or equivalent
• 3+ years experience in Java development
• Agile programming
• Track record of writing real-time systems that are efficient, scalable and resilient
• Java expert -- particularly multi-threading, message-driven, low-latency a plus
• Comfortable going from high-level architecture to low-level hardware-sympathetic code
• Cloud experience on AWS
• Writes well-tested, maintainable code under CI/CD
