TEKsystems is looking for community-minded individuals to help with multiple urgent positions at a large local banking client! This position is entry level and open to Accounting and Finance graduates.

PAYCHECK PROTECTION PROGRAM ANALYST: This position is an entry level analyst position in support of the Paycheck Protection Program, which is now in the "forgiveness” stage. This person would track and document applications for PPP Forgiveness and help local businesses with their applications. If you have strong communication skills and are an Excel whiz, this could be a great way to get your foot in the door in the local banking industry!  It would also be an awesome way to give back to the community during this crazy time. Our client is treating this as a training program and would like to consider these people for Full Time employment at end of contract, so excellent growth opportunity. Accounting and Finance coursework highly preferred.

Top skills:

• Good written/verbal communication, with the ability to handle a fast-moving environment, learn on the fly and can work in a constantly changing process

• Strong organizational skills

• Knowledge of spreadsheet software (excel)

• Basic accounting skills/finance knowledge

Other ideal candidate attributes:

o Positive attitude

o Proactive in nature

o High attention to detail

o Familiarity and ability to navigate technology systems

Key job functions:

o Verbal and written communication direct to customers.

o Review and clean forgiveness applications

o Comprehend and analyze supporting documentation

o Within a framework, be confident in determining application status.

Useful experience:

o Residential underwriters or processors who can adapt to a process that is not currently fully defined.

o Ability to filter through a large amount of information and not get caught in the weeds.

o Credit risk, accounting, process management
