    HERE'S HOW

    • This opportunity is a full-time position providing desktop support, hardware systems administration, and support for our Corporate Infrastructure team working with Windows/Mac OS, Microsoft and Google base productivity platforms, and a variety of other vendor provided.
    • Help desk user support for TAC staff
    • Installing applications
    • Troubleshooting computer issues
    • Deploying new computers
    • User administration on various platforms
    • Documentation and note taking for internal knowledge base
    • Shadowing Helpdesk Support Engineers and taking on new tasks as delegated
    • Integrations projects
    • Troubleshoot a wide range of different IT issues for clients and servers
    • Work with clients, when necessary, to troubleshoot issues
    • On-call emergency support

    WHAT YOU BRING TO THIS ROLE

    • LOCATED OUT OF THE RALEIGH, NC AREA
    • 3-5 years of work experience in support
    • Bachelor's Degree or comparable experience
    • Good interpersonal communication skills
    • Good documentation and technical writing skills
    • Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions and become fluent on new and unfamiliar hardware and software
    • Able to manage and shepherd projects from inception to completion with little oversight
    • Self-starter who can work independently or with a team equally well
    • A desire to learn and the ability to do independent research to solve problems
    • Enjoy working with computers, technology, gadgets, and people
    • Poise under pressure when encountering critical high-profile issues
    • Be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems, specifically Windows 10+ and MacOS
    • Familiarity with basic networking/server concepts (Active Directory knowledge is a plus)
    • Strong ability to adhere to security best practices
    • Occasional alternate shifts may be required
    • Familiarity with agile methodologies
    • Relevant technical certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, etc.) are a plus
