You'll also need to be well-versed in Positive Behavior Plans, ensuring our approach remains consistent and effective.

Required Qualifications:
We're eager to welcome candidates who hold a bachelor's degree in fields such as Psychology, Education, Special Education, Counseling, or Social Work. Alternatively, if you possess a current NADD Competency-Based IDD/MI Dual Diagnosis Direct Support Professional Certification, or hold a CNA, LPN, ADN, or RBT certification, we'd love to hear from you.
The Vital Traits:
To thrive in this role, reliability, punctuality, and responsibility are essential. A valid driver's license, dependable vehicle, full vaccination, and first aid training are necessary to ensure the highest level of care.
Experience that Counts:
At least two years of experience working with individuals who have special needs will be a major advantage. We're looking for someone who can bring energy, creativity, and a proactive approach to the table. A great sense of humor and a calm demeanor will also go a long way in creating a positive and supportive environment.
Benefits You'll Enjoy:
The position offers part-time hours, primarily from 2:30 to 6, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends and PRN hours available. The starting salary is an attractive $33.00 per hour, reflecting the value we place on your dedication and expertise.

Additional requirements a clean driving record and an available vehicle. Also, there is a need for the staff and vehicle to be pet hair and dander-free. This young lady is severely allergic to cats and dogs.
