We are currently seeking multiple Direct Care Staff members to provide exceptional support to a 31-year-old, handsome, and pleasant young man residing in the Unionville/Coatesville area. This individual is medically fragile and has an intellectual disability. Our ideal candidates will have a compassionate nature and a genuine interest in enriching this young man’s life.
As a Direct Care Staff member, you will be responsible for offering direct support to this sweet gentleman, ensuring his well-being and engagement in various community activities. He thrives on social interactions and enjoys participating in safe outings. Your role will involve providing direct care services both at his home and in the community. The young man loves exploring new places and experiences, eagerly immersing himself in many household activities. Assistance with daily living tasks, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and facilitating mobility, including transfers, will be required. He is nonverbal and relies on a wheelchair.
We provide comprehensive training and support to enable you to fulfill this rewarding position. The role demands an active and engaged staff person who can provide full support in terms of personal care.
Available Shifts:
Monday to Thursday: 3:pm to 8:30 pm
Friday 3 pm to 10 pm
Every Other Weekend: 8 am to 6 pm
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to pass a standard background check

While CNA certification is preferred, it is not required. Both the young man and his family have been vaccinated against Covid, and we highly value staff members who have received the vaccination as well.
Compensation: The pay range for this position is $20 - $25 per hour, commensurate with experience and education.
