As an Inventory Control Specialist for TES USA, your primary responsibility will be to manage and maintain accurate records of all IT assets stored and processed within the facility. You will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient inventory management, tracking, and reconciliation processes to support the overall operations of the ITAD warehouse.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the put away process of all IT assets, including computers, laptops, servers, networking equipment, and other electronic devices.
Update and maintain the inventory database with detailed and accurate information.
Regularly perform physical counts and audits of inventory to reconcile with database records and identify discrepancies or potential issues.
Track the movement of assets within the warehouse, from storage and disposition stages, using appropriate tracking tools and systems.
Ensure that all assets are appropriately labelled, tagged, and stored in designated locations for easy retrieval and tracking.
Identify any damages or issues with assets and coordinate with the relevant teams for necessary repairs or follow-up actions.
Generate regular and ad hoc reports on inventory levels, asset status, and any operational or inventory-related concerns for management review. Liaise with cross functional teams to ensure aged inventory levels are recognized and being dealt with as necessary.
Maintain a secure and organized warehouse environment to safeguard assets from damage, theft, or unauthorized access.
Assist in tracking, acquisition, and disposal of supplies and other non-inventory items to avoid excess accumulations or shortages.
Creating outbound scrap shipments in internal system.
Qualifications:
Computer literate, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
Basic knowledge of computer hardware.
Experience of bar code control stock system.
Attention to detail.
Possess communication skills.
Physically fit and hardworking.
Self-motivation and willingness to learn new skills
High School Diploma or equivalent
