Tessmer Law Firm specializes in various practice areas such as divorce, child custody, military divorce, collaborative divorce, estate planning, probate, guardianship, and general civil litigation.

    Our law firm has an immediate opening for a Chief Financial Analyst, with a minimum of 5 years of experience, and has a proven history of success leading teams within the Finance Department. A Chief Financial Analyst would be a member of our Leadership Team; by allocating funds, and presenting financial projections to the Leadership Team, the Chief Financial Analyst oversees propelling the organization forward and increasing profitability.

    Your Role:

    o Develop and monitor objectives for the financial department, including, but not limited to overseeing all financial operations and bookkeeping procedures of the firm.

    o Oversee billing processes and related trust accounts.

    o Oversee accounts receivable and produce budgets and yearly projections.

    o Drafting tax returns for the firm. Review firm’s tax objectives by researching and advising the firm on most advantageous utilization of tax rules.

    o Assist with banking and loan management.

    o Assist legal team with financial duties related to Client matters, including, but not limited to: i. Determining separate property estate and community property estate through the use of tracing. Determining property values through appraisal processes with other professionals.

    ii. Drafting property comparison charts for use in Court proceedings. Conducting business valuations and drafting Reports on same.

    iii. Providing tax assistance and advice to Clients.

    iv. Serving as Testifying Expert for Court proceedings.
