    Job Description

    TETER ARCHITECTS + ENGINEERS, Central California's premier Architecture and Engineering Firm, is looking for a BUSINESS & FINANCE MANAGER to lead a variety of special projects related to the Firm's business operations such as licensing, facilities, contract administration, insurance, legal compliance, scenario planning, etc., as well as perform routine financial and accounting tasks.

    In order to be successful in the role, the BUSINESS & FINANCE MANAGER must be an exceptional project manager, taking ownership of projects and assignments, coordinating between multiple departments, communicating status and challenges, and ensuring that projects are completed per expectations.

    The ideal candidate must be able to see the big picture, evaluate potential collateral impacts (internally and externally), and execute the details. They must be flexible and adapt readily to changes in priorities. They must have a history of working in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating good judgment, and persevering through challenges. Additional qualifications include:

    • Experience 5-7 years providing managerial, financial and business support. Experience in architecture, engineering or construction is a plus.
    • Education Bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting, project management, or a related field required.
    • Technology Very comfortable learning and utilizing computer programs and databases. Experience with accounting software packages required. Experience implementing and managing enterprise resource planning (ERP) software is a plus.

    During COVID-19, TETER staff are primarily working from home with access to an office in Fresno, Visalia, Bakersfield, San Luis Obispo or Modesto. In order to best serve our team located throughout Central California, the BUSINESS & FINANCE MANAGER should reside near one of these offices.

    Compensation is based on experience.
