    Job Description

    The primary function of this position is to be responsible for all components of multiple education programs including event planning and logistics. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management and onsite and virtual event planning skills. Critical skills essential for success in the role include attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to utilize technology. The Continuing Education Manager must possess interpersonal communication skills and be able to communicate in a professional manner with State and Chapter staff, vendors, volunteer leaders, and members.

With nearly 8,000 members from a 13-county area, TXCPA Houston is the largest CPA chapter in Texas. The Chapter has a reputation for action, integrity, and competence as the result of the strong leadership of our friendly volunteers. The six-person staff works closely with State and Chapter volunteer leaders to deliver educational programs, networking events, community, and student support activities, and other resources to help its CPA members perform at their greatest capacities with the highest integrity.
