    Engineering Technology experience. Communication protocols experience. FOcused on technology feasibility and systems- managing people involved with implementing systems with interfaces and protocols. 

    Help work with marketing to define new technology and road maps. 

    The Senior Program Manager for Technology, much as a CTO, is responsible for leading the development and management of key technology projects and research In addition, he or she is responsible for the development and management of all IP related to new products and technology

    OBJECTIVES

    1. Development of product technology roadmaps with Marketing to identify future product features and functions.
    2. Monitor and identify new technologies trends and evaluate their impact to the company business and our products.
    3. Lead in the definition of the needs and use of cyber security in new products and systems.
    4. Lead the development of new protocols used in products and systems.
    5. Define technology exploration and research projects and provides estimates of resources, time and, material expenses.
    6. Lead in the definition of future product development processes to optimize quality, efficiency and, cost.
    7. Manage cross-disciplinary Project Teams during development of new technologies for products or systems.
    8. Promote the development of third-party technology partners, such as specialized technology companies or Universities, to provide access to resources with special skills.
    9. Develop and manage Intellectual property via clearances, patent landscaping, disclosures, patents, development agreements and NDAs.

    REQUIREMENTS

    EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Computer)

    EXPERIENCE: 7 or more years of relevant work experience

    SPECIAL SKILLS: Project management, Strategic Planning, and strong communication skills.

    LOCATION: Alabama or Georgia; May be required to travel to one of our manufacturing/customer locations up to 25% of the time when necessary.
