JOB SUMMARY

The Talent Acquisition Specialist uses their experience with full cycle recruitment to employ sourcing techniques and develop/oversee our corporate recruiting program, shortlisting candidates, and closing successful hires. This job requires excellent communication skills with both internal managers and candidates. Advanced knowledge in various recruiting techniques and the ability to work independently with little supervision is required.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Working closely with hiring manager to define needs and structure recruitment plan.
  
• Creating and publishing job requirements on relevant job boards.
  
• Managing outside recruiting firms.
  
• Ability and knowledge to seek out new candidate sources.
  
• Source and pre-screen qualified candidates.
  
• Track recruiting KPIs like time to hire and source via weekly employment activity report.
  
• Maintaining and improving our employer brand by attracting and hiring people who contribute to our company’s culture and growth.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES [education, certification, experience, general skills)

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.
  
• Familiarity with full-cycle recruitment.
  
• Creativity in sourcing techniques.
  
• Strong networking skills.
  
• Strong interviewing skills and familiarity with various interview techniques (phone, video, panel, 1:1, candidate testing).
  
• Experience with social media recruiting.
  
• Effective negotiating skills
  
• Understanding HR practices and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
