TGI Office Automation has an immediate open position for a Junior Systems Engineer that will provide IT support for its corporate infrastructure in the Northeast, based out of its corporate headquarters in Brooklyn, New York.
The right candidate must have experience in a fast-paced business IT support environment. The position also requires the candidate to have a positive attitude, be customer service oriented, and be able to follow through and complete customer requests and support issues. Exemplary work ethic combined with consistent performance, reliability, and attendance are top priorities.
Additionally, candidates must be well-organized, can prioritize multiple tasks, and work well under pressure and tight deadlines. This position requires some schedule flexibility to accommodate project deadlines, urgent issues, and after-hour maintenance calls. Candidate must be detail-oriented and understand the importance of properly documenting work and logging time in a professional services environment.
Duties & Responsibilities include:
- Computer hardware
- Installation and management of software (updates, tools, etc) including software troubleshooting
- Network/local printers, scanners, and other peripheral installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Handling managed solutions from various providers
- Desktop support knowledge; fixing Microsoft Office Suite (focusing on Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Network troubleshooting
- Mobile device set up from different vendors and with different requirements
- Customer service support, both in person and remot4e
Qualifications, Education, and/or Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in a business environment preferred
- Strong background with Windows 10
- Office 365 exposure
- Remote support knowledge
- Knowledge of Windows and servers, Active Directory, Exchange On-Prem, or Office 365
- General knowledge of IT support client handling and customer service scenarios
- Knowledge of ticketing systems and monitoring software is a plus

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
