Dear candidate, we are a fast growing and profitable cosmetics start up out of El Segundo looking to add a superstar product developer to our team of “A” players. The company is 100% self funded & profitable. It has been growing every year. HOWEVER we are not satisfied. We are SEEKING explosive growth. We believe that this can be achieved by reinvesting in 10x products while improving our current top sellers.

Below are 4 must have qualities of “A player” for this role:

• Must be passionate about Health, and  Beauty/ Cosmetics products with an ability to see where the field will be in 10 years. Very strong customer first mentality.
• Is business savvy and practical thinker (NO IDEALIST or Perfectionist). Basically someone who get things done very efficiently and produces results.
• Ability for vision and to dream big. Small goals lead to small results. Big goals + right people lead to big results.
• Very strong follow through skills. Must have a strong record of following through and producing results.

Your application will be reviewed by the company founder. You will be required to answer 4 questions. You need to absolutely wow me to even be considered.

During our interview process, at some point we will be calling your last 3 direct supervisors. You will go through at least 3 rounds of interviews.

You need to know how to focus on things that matter, (80/20 Rule). YOU MUST HAVE a strong record of results in product management & development. You MUST have a strong track record in business and a strong work history to be considered. If you don't have this, please do not apply.

WHAT YOUR DAY-DAY WOULD LOOK LIKE:

• Coordinating and managing product launches to existing customers
• Launching new products, and brands while always conducting research and being a subject matter expert inside your role
• Working with the a managers and executives in metric driven structure to achieve results inside your department
• Going back to researching customers and how we can improve our products, advertisement, and messaging
• Research competitors and testing bold new ideas - Finding us Blue Oceans
• Coming up with ideas of new products to launch once the current projects are success
• Optimizing processes and work flow and overall launching better products faster and with a higher success rate
