Job Description

We are seeking a highly-skilled, experienced webmaster to help us develop our in-house technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our company’s web presence, ensuring that our site is user-friendly and up to date at all times. You will also be responsible for expanding our web presence through the design and implementation of new web-based applications that will positively impact our customers’ experience and develop our online sales department. You should be highly knowledgeable in online security, content management, SEO and have solid coding skills.

• Meet with management regularly to discuss current and future functionality
• Monitor security and perform all necessary updates
• Monitor and report all web traffic
• Make all necessary updates to the company site, minimizing downtime
• Update content to reflect current SEO trends
• Update web store products & images
• Update and maintain newsletter & blog
• Design images for website and marketing campaigns
• Generate and maintain lead capturing & retargeting campaigns
• Create and distribute email blasts
• Manage co-op funds from manufacturers
• Backlink and tag website to maximize web presence
• maintain contact listings on 3rd party websites/Manufacturers dealer locator pages
• Repair any broken links and fix any reported bugs
• Maintain virtual and cloud-based servers, optimizing speeds
• Contribute to discussions on ways to improve functionality and usability
• Manage backup servers and failover

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in computer science or related field; Degree is a plus
• Evidence of continuing education, such as certifications
• 3+ years’ experience in the technology field
• Strong firearms and related product knowledge
• Strong understanding of eCommerce
• Leadership and/or management experience is a plus
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong working knowledge of all relevant coding languages (CSS, PHP, Javascript, HTML)
• Capable of utilizing web content management systems
• Excellent communicator, especially regarding abstract concepts

This will be a full time position (36-40+ hours per week) with the ability to work partially from your home office. Pay based on experience level.
