Job Title: Master Plumber

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Master Plumber with expertise in residential plumbing to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in residential plumbing systems and be capable of handling a variety of tasks independently. While the primary focus of this role is residential work, there will be opportunities for commercial projects as well. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for training and mentoring apprentice plumbers.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform installations, repairs, and maintenance of residential plumbing systems including fixtures, pipes, water heaters, and sewage systems.
2. Diagnose plumbing issues and propose effective solutions to address them promptly.
3. Conduct assessments and provide accurate cost estimates for plumbing projects.
4. Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
5. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and within deadlines.
6. Communicate effectively with clients to address their plumbing needs and provide excellent customer service.
7. Maintain organized records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project.
8. Train and mentor apprentice plumbers, providing guidance and instruction to support their development.

Requirements:

1. Valid Master Plumber license issued by the state of West Virginia.
2. Proven experience as a Master Plumber, with a minimum of 5 years in residential plumbing.
3. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
5. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting heavy equipment and working in tight spaces.
8. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
9. Willingness to occasionally work on commercial projects as needed.
10. Previous experience in training and mentoring apprentice plumbers is preferred.
