Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Interprets blueprints and CAD drawings to create HVAC load calculations and designs
• Estimates the amount of materials and cost of labor to complete the installation of HVAC systems in new residential homes
• Communicates with other estimators, lead estimators, managers, and sales staff
• Returns all necessary information back to the assigned division in a timely manner to continue with the bid process
• Communicates all internal issues or questions to the Lead Estimator or Estimating Manager
• Ability to forecast the needs of materials per each blueprint
• Follows all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to safety
• Ongoing training to provide better support to the rest of the team

Minimum Requirements:

• Wrightsoft experience
• CAD a plus but not necessary
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to read and interpret architectural blueprints
• Ability to learn new software efficiently
• General computer competency is required
  
• Must be able to communicate in English effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to work overtime with little notice; weekends hours may occasionally be required
