    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    · Repair and maintain doors, turnstiles, revolving doors, and other entrance or security products

    · Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services to solve potential issues

    · Meet with customers onsite to review work before and after services

    · Work with office staff to order and track parts, materials, and time spent on services

    · Complete dispatches, work orders, and service requests accurately and on time

    · Track and maintain job-related paperwork

    · Submit paperwork to office staff in a timely manner – often via company-issued phone

    · Manage parts and materials on your company-issued vehicle

    · Maintain a professional attitude in a safe working environment with a clean job site

    YOU SHOULD HAVE

    · 1+ years of experience in the servicing or installing automatic doors

    · Comfortable using power tools and hand tools – professionally or personally

    · Mechanically-minded with a desire to continue learning

    · Ready to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques

    · Willing and able to work overtime with the possibility of weekends, as necessary

    · Willing and able to be on-call, on a rotating basis with other ADW technicians

    · Ability to stand, bend, and/or climb for long periods of time in a non-climate-controlled environment; lift 75+ pounds; work at heights/use a ladder

    · Familiar with basic computer skills, operating phone applications, and general communication via phone/email/messengers/text

    · High school diploma/GED

    · Unrestricted and valid US driver's license with a clean driving record

    · Successful completion of a background check and drug screen

    PREFERRED SKILLS – NOT REQUIRED TO APPLY

    · 2+ years of experience in one or more of these fields: construction, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, military, mechanical, or similar

    · 1+ years of customer service/interaction experience

    · Skilled understanding of mechanical, electrical systems, or wiring

    · 1+ years using power tools and hand tools in a professional setting

    · Strong problem-solving skills

    · Organized, with a strong attention to detail

    · Familiar with workflow within a construction job site or similar environment
