Operating heavy equipment, you'll be responsible for moving, loading, and grading earth, rock, gravel, and other materials. Additionally, you'll assist in building demolition using excavators with various attachments.

Responsibilities:

• Operate excavators efficiently and safely to fulfill project requirements.
• Move, load, and grade materials according to project specifications.
• Assist in building demolition using excavators with thumb, shear, or magnet attachments.
• Read and interpret grade stakes to understand job requirements.
• Knowledge of cutting grade and digging foundations to the correct depth is a plus.
• Conduct pre and post-operational checks on equipment, ensuring cleanliness, lubrication, and refueling.
• Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure project success.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of excavator operating experience.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and obtain federal installation access.
• Proficiency in working well with others in a team environment.
• Experience in reading and interpreting grade stakes is preferred.
• Knowledge of cutting grade or digging foundations to the correct depth is an advantage.
