Job Summary:

The Craftsman Installer Level 2 will utilize carpentry skills to construct, install, and repair various structures and equipment across Utah and neighboring states where projects are active.

Duties/Responsibilities:

\- Collaborate with team members regarding project details, blueprints, and renderings to understand the structures requiring construction or repair.

\- Build and repair StruXure aluminum patio shade products and Progressive motorized screens.

\- Operate all necessary tools required to complete a job.

\- Prepare and dismantle scaffolding and ladders as necessary.

\- Ensure tools and equipment are properly cleaned, stored, and maintained for optimal performance and safety.

\- Perform low voltage electrical work as needed.

\- Carry out other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

\- Pass a drug test and background screening.

\- Proven experience in correctly and safely operating all relevant tools and equipment.

\- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

\- Ability to communicate project specifications effectively.

\- Proficient in taking accurate measurements and calculations and reading a tape measure.

\- Punctuality and ability to consistently work assigned hours in approved jobsite attire (e.g., composite/steel toe shoes, pants or shorts, non-tattered shirt, no tank tops).

Education and Experience:

\- High school diploma or equivalent.

\- Proven experience in installing patio shade systems or equivalent work.

Physical Requirements:

\- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds at a time.

\- Ability to squat, lift, stretch, and bend to reach all areas of the work site.

\- Capability to work on overhead structures and from ladders and scaffolding.
