Job Title: Lead Commercial Refrigeration Technician

Location: Richardson, Texas

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Commercial Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and expertise in commercial refrigeration systems, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair. The Lead Commercial Refrigeration Technician will be responsible for leading a team of technicians, coordinating projects, and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead a team of commercial refrigeration technicians, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
2. Coordinate and schedule installation, maintenance, and repair projects for commercial refrigeration systems.
3. Perform hands-on work, including troubleshooting, diagnosing issues, and repairing commercial refrigeration equipment such as walk-in coolers, freezers, ice machines, and refrigerated display cases.
4. Conduct preventative maintenance inspections to ensure the optimal performance and efficiency of refrigeration systems.
5. Collaborate with customers to understand their requirements and provide solutions that meet their needs.
6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
7. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports, equipment logs, and inventory records.
8. Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and industry trends in commercial refrigeration systems.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial refrigeration installation, maintenance, and repair.
2. Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role is preferred.
3. Strong technical knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems, including electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration principles.
4. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
5. Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
7. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
8. EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) preferred.
9. Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions.
