Mallard Group is hiring fixture installers and/or retail merchandisers with plan-o-gram experience for  retail merchandising / remodeling projects nationwide. This job post is NOT for Haddon Township, NJ only. These projects will be for one week in duration at each location, therefore, we would like to fixture installers / merchandisers who are willing to travel to the next project afterward and continue working with us full-time. Our starting pay $12-$17 per hour, based on experience. We also pay mileage and drive-time, which a recruiter will explain in further detail if you are selected for a phone interview.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO START:

• Reliable transportation - no excuses 
• Merchandising Experience - from a grocery or big-box retail environment. Fashion/clothing merchandising experience would not apply here. We need those applicants who know how to read a plan-o-gram and set product on shelves in its rightful place. 
• Ability to lift 40 pounds or more, and an ability to go up and down a ladder throughout a normal 8-hour shift. 
• Willingness to learn, listen, and be led first, a willingness to be flexible and adapt, and a willingness to then take initiative to always "find work" even after given tasks have been completed. 
• Must be able to work in the United States. Applicants must complete and I-9 employment verification document and be able to provide 2 forms of (official) identification.  
• Must be willing to undergo a background check. Applicants to this job cannot have any history of shoplifting or theft of any kind, considering we will be working around valuable merchandise which does not belong to us. We have hired felons before, but applicants must be prepared to explain their criminal records. Hiring and not hiring anyone based on the results of a background check is left to the discretion of Mallard Group. We reserve the right to hire or not hire anyone we want, for any reason.

PREFERRED CANDIDATES WOULD......

• Possess the basic skills listed above, plus some basic handy-man skills. We need men and/or women who have a decent level of experience using tools. 
• Preferably, candidates for this job should own some basic hand tools and some power tools such as: 
  • screwdrivers, hammer, wrenches, pliers, tape measure, utility knife, drill-bit set, socket wrench set, cordless drill/hammer drill/impact driver.
• Preferred candidates would possess some basic knowledge of shelving systems (particularly gondola-style shelving), and know how to build them, move them, and deconstruct them. In other words, retail fixutre installation experience is a major plus! Please mention this to a Mallard Group recruiter if you receive a phone call. 
• Preferred candidates would be willing to travel to our projects following this week-long project in New Jersey and "hit the road" for the forseeable future. We understand this is a major life-choice which must be made, but candidates who are willing to travel will be hired first! We want to hire our fixture installers/merchandisers full-time.
