We are looking for qualified home health aids to provide professional and compassionate care for our clients. This is often a demanding but deeply gratifying job, as you will have to be available to care for people who are ill, injured, disabled, or elderly and who are deserving and thankful for exceptional support.
The ideal candidate will be dependable, courteous, and have outstanding communication skills. They should be able to follow read instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help clients.
Remind clients to take prescribed medication
Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks, etc.)
Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
Complete client's shopping or accompany them when they shop
Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own
Be a pleasant and supportive companion
Assist with a client's pet(s), such as walking or sitting their dog or feeding their cat
Report any unusual incidents
Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Proven experience as a caregiver or aide in a similar environment
Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards

Physical endurance
High school diploma or equivalent
TRAINING PROVIDED: We are able to provide training under the supervision of an RN if you have not completed a formal program
