Job Summary We are seeking a fully licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team! In this role, you will diagnose and treat psychological disorders, teach communication skills, assist children, adolescents and families in addressing dysfunctional behaviors, and guide them through crises. Our mission is to offer licensed clinicians the freedom and flexibility of private practice backed by the stability and support of an established practice. We are an insurance based practice, and we seek to make therapy as accessible as possible for our community. We have a fully furnished office in Dallas, and we have contracts with 4 Paulding County Schools to be able to provide school-based therapy. We can provide games, books, art supplies, and therapeutic toys to facilitate excellent work with our children and adolescents. Responsibilities
Perform intake assessments
Provide mental health therapy for school-aged (elementary, middle, and high) children and adolescents
Create individualized treatment plans for each client
Use evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate group and individual treatments
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan
Adhere to all facility and licensing standards
Services will be provided in our Dallas office, via telehealth, and in assigned Paulding County Schools
Qualifications
Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or similar field
Current and related licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) Please note that you must be fully licensed for this position by 10/1/24.
Previous experience as a mental health therapist working with children and adolescents required (internship experience is acceptable)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized
