    Job Description

    The position of Sr. QA Test Engineer is responsible for creating and maintaining testing documentation including, but not limited to, conversion of functional specifications into detailed test plans, development of regression testing protocol and a key contributor to delivery of platform. This person will also be responsible for conducting QA testing for all digital properties we manage, and achieving 100% compliance with providing bug-free, fully functional digital assets to our customers.

    Operating as a single contributor or as part of a team, on large complex projects, this role will interpret and translate product requirements into test cases which align with the overarching Enterprise Architecture and Platform. Communicating directly with the various stakeholders on project deliverables and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, IT and Development Partners to deliver solutions that represent both business capabilities and the platform roadmap.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Responsible for development of test cases, conducting QA, including logging detailed and accurate bug reports and follows the defects through resolution and closure
    • Proven ability to commandeer cross-functional teams in distributed model to aid in QA related activities in peak resource times
    • Contributes to the creative process by providing the internal team with recommendations related to QA deliverables

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    • Ability to translate product requirements into test cases
    • Focus on and demonstrated ability for continuous process improvement
    • Expertise with full Software Development Life Cycle including writing Functional Specifications, QA processes, maintenance, and deployment procedures
    • Experience developing processes intended to maximize software quality and minimize time-to-delivery
    • Create and Manage regression cycles for platform validation
    • Run regression cycles as needed to assist other QA team members
    • Experience with GAMP 5
    • Experience with Platform Validation & Infrastructure Validation
    • Excellent teamwork skills with an ability to get the work done with minimal supervision
    • Understanding of Software as a Service (Saas) models
    • Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
    • Proven ability to work under pressure
    • Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Zephyr, MS Office, Google Analytics
    • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
    • Excellent teamwork skills with an ability to get the work done with minimal or no supervision

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • BA or BS, preferably in computer science, IT, engineering, or science/technology-based discipline is desired
    • 5+ years of hands on experience in QA or software testing role
    • Experience with Agile methodologies for SDLC
    • Experience with healthcare, mHealth and/or clinical research is desired
