Third Party Administrator (TPA) specializing in providing services to Taft-Hartley fringe benefit funds is seeking a Benefits Administrator to work in our Lansing, MI office.

Responsibilities include:

• Seeking out, building and managing client relationships with Taft-Hartley health and pension funds.
• Developing, implementing and monitoring policies, programs, standards and procedures to ensure appropriate delivery of client services and compliance with relevant government regulations.
• Analyzing and Interpreting funds’ financial data.
• Successfully interacting with a variety of people including fund participants, trustees, professional managers and colleagues.
• Ensuring client satisfaction.
• Helping lead, mentor and train staff.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the benefits field.

Qualifications include a college level degree, 10+ years of experience in benefits administration including management experience, solid knowledge of employee benefit plans and regulations and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience administering Taft-Hartley health and pension plans. Actuarial designation, CPA, CEBS or other relevant professional designation a plus.
