    A FRENCH-OWNED, SMALL COMPANY (17 PEOPLE) IN MINNEAPOLIS, MN NEEDS THE HELP OF AMBITIOUS AND ENTREPRENEURIAL ROCKSTARS IN OUR CHEMICAL SALES AREA!

    TIMAB Magnesium (https://timabmagnesium.com/en/), a subsidiary of the Roullier Groupe (https://www.roullier.com/en/), produces and distributes a variety of magnesium-based products used for agricultural, industrial and environmental markets.

    TIMAB USA, our U.S. entity, is now looking for a TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER to maintain and further develop our business activity for the INDUSTRIAL & CHEMICAL MARKETS in the USA and Canada.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • To develop and expand the business in sectors such as:

    Specialty chemicals, food & pharma, catalysts, lubricants, building products, wastewater treatment, pulp & paper, polymers, desulfurization, oilfield, process additives, etc.

    • To monitor the market (competition, potential clients, raw material cost, regulations)
    • To develop and monitor the B2B client portfolio by sourcing and pursuing contacts, prospects and partners
    • To draft and negotiate commercial contracts in order to optimize your results (margins, volume and market share)
    • To manage the P&L for your area
    • To ensure the correct processing of client orders, logistics and payments

    A training period of several weeks will be provided, to ensure you quickly become operational on the raw materials market.

    PROFILE:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Mining/Geology OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Management (or related degree) with a minor in Chemistry or with STRONG TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE, APTITUDE AND INTEREST.
    • A FEW YEARS OF SALES EXPERIENCE (IDEALLY IN CHEMICALS, RAW MATERIALS OR OTHER TECHNICAL FIELD)
    • Excellent negotiator
    • Results-oriented person
    • Strong communication skills (in English)
    • Entrepreneurial spirit
    • Business acumen
    • Willingness to travel up to 30%
