Job Description
SUMMARY
The machine operator position operates various machinery such as but not limited to: tablet press, encapsulation machine, film coating, sugar coating pans, imprinting, and blending. Performs all functions related to the processing of drug products; consistent with established cGMPs, customer requirements and in conjunction with all SOP’s.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment with low noise levels and minimum ink fumes. This role routinely uses Allen Keys, screw drivers, screw guns, cleaning brush and a pen.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The employee is occasionally required to reach, stoop, and push. The employee is continuously required to stand, and walk and frequently lift and carry. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and able to hand-scoop 5lbs intermittently throughout the day. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
