Position Duties:

• Project Engineer will be responsible for providing technical analysis of a large and important engineering project or a number of smaller projects with many complex drainage features.
• Provide technical support with the help of a team to produce hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and reports with knowledge of municipal and federal requirements.
• Use standard and advanced modeling techniques, theory, and practices in hydrology and hydraulics related disciplines.
• Project Engineer will interact with the Client and must have good communication skills.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science, Civil Engineering
• Licensed Professional Engineer P.E. or Engineer in Training  EIT
• Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) a plus

Skills:

• 3+ years’ experience in hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, detention design, FEMA Letters of Map Change and Floodplain Fill Mitigation Plans.
• Proficient in commonly used H&H software (HEC-RAS, HMS, Unsteady, 2D, ICPR, XP-SWMM or Storm)
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to build strong relationships
