Our client is one of the largest highway roadway design build companies in the United States. With over 30 offices nationwide, they have seen consistent growth all throughout the Texas Market.They are now looking to expand their construction team to meet the extensive business they have brought in.

Position Details:

• Apply technical expertise and project management experience to manage project teams on conventional and unconventional projects.
• Perform basic project functions of production coordination, planning, organizing, directing, controlling, financial management and marketing assistance.
• Function as a mentor to project engineers and technical professionals to assist in their technical training and development.
• Lead a team in the development of plans and specifications for projects that include detailed design of roadway geometrics, drainage, traffic control design, and other infrastructures projects as required.
• Prepare preliminary engineering reports (PER), layouts/schematics, plans and specifications, cost estimates, and quality control review of completed designs.
• Report to senior project management.
• Invoicing.
• Direct interaction with clients externally and internally.
• Training to meet company safety standards.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner at all times.

Skill Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years’ Construction Management experience.
• Strong work ethic and able to work both independently and with a group.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Texas.
• City of Houston Construction Inspection Certification is a plus.
• TXDOT Certification and experience a plus.
