Software Engineer

Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs, and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, cloud-based or Internet-related computer programs. Code may be used in commercial or end-user applications, such as desktop applications or mobile apps.

The Software Engineer should gain domain knowledge by working closely with product managers and use current established software architecture to make changes or write code, including performing debug and tests for applications. Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. May interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications. This role will involve coming up with bug fixes or enhancements to software solutions in a timely manner based on customer needs.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATIONS

• Experience with Software Development using the Agile Methodology
• Proficient in .NET Core, C#, C++ programming
• Experience with WPF/Xaml
• Familiarity in using JIRA
• Proficient with version control system (Git, Mercurial) and Visual Studio development environment.
• Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Additional desired Skills:

• Fundamental Understanding of Image Processing
• Experience in programming with Image Processing packages such as OpenCV
• Experience in GUI development
• Experience in integrating hardware directly into software
• Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software.
