TLP Property Management is a new company that manages apartments and houses for a select few Landlords with personal connections to TLP. We are hiring a maintenance technician to handle routine maintenance, service calls, repairing and replacing mechanicals and appliances, and renovations of vacant units. We are able to hire on a full-time or part-time basis. The workflow will be steady, work hours can be flexible, and extra hours will frequently be available. We want someone who wants to be paid well for doing good work they can be proud of. Pay will be based on experience, timeliness, and the variety of tasks you can complete. Responsibilities: Plan and implement preventative maintenance procedures to maximize equipment operations and minimize safety risks Take additional maintenance requests as assigned Ensure all equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring are in working order by conducting routine maintenance and handle any repairs, if needed Check the building for any damage to doors, windows, and walls, and make any repairs as needed Keep a record of completed repairs and when equipment was last serviced Qualifications: Must be able to demonstrate advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques and procedures Flexible availability for on-call maintenance requests on nights and weekends Applicants should have knowledge of air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and and electrical systems Stellar communication skills, attention to detail, and work ethic At least 2 years of maintenance experience Compensation: $20 - $30 hourly
