    Qualifications:Bachelor’s in computer science, information technology, or other job-related IT degree OR associate degree in computer science, information technology, or other job related plus 2 equivalent job-related work experience OR 4 extra years equivalent job-related work experienceAbility to obtain a low-level U.S. security clearance, which requires a thorough background screening and U.S. citizenship6 years of technical experience with systems analysis, design, and/or programming experienceTop skills of this position include:SQL DB scripting familiarity (2 years)General working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory (2 years)Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Server (2 years)Knowledge in the use of DNS (2 years)Knowledge in the use of GitHub (1 year)Knowledge of RHEL 6 and 7Familiar with Microsoft Office productsTroubleshooting and assessing incidents in a timely fashionWillingness to work day or evening depending on job and on-call requirementsPositive attitude, willingness to learn, and practice good verbal and written communication skillsResponsibilities:Provide enhancement recommendations based on long-term IT organization strategyAnalyze new/revised processes/change requests from the maintainerCollaborate with various internal groups and external vendors to ensure all specifications are met and problems are resolved as they ariseParticipate in the development of custom integration solutionsReview and research issues reported from external/internal customersEvaluate interrelationships in projects to determine how changes/installations of one program will affect othersParticipate in work sessions and walkthroughs for quality and production implementations, releases, data conversion projects and/or disaster recovery exercisesAttend implementation meetings to determine impact to system availability and assignment of team resources for these implementationsWork closely with team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutionsAct as an internal consultant, advocate, mentor, and change agentAnswer questions and/or provide training for the Production Support team on current systemPerform installations, configuration, analysis, scheduling and tuning on complex projectsEnsure Production and Test environments are up and functioning properlyPerform corrective actions whenever possible to fix applications that end abnormallyLocation: Columbia, SCTM Floyd & Company offers a generous array of benefits, depending on the length of assignment.
