Director of Medical Science Liaisons, New Team Build-Out

Rare Disease/Neurology, Upcoming Launch, In-house Responsibilities!

One of our clients, a Japanese Pharma Company with a focus in CNS disorders, is continuing to build-out their Medical Affairs team. This company has a deep passion for the research, development, and commercialization of novel treatments in the CNS arena. If you’re looking for a high-science culture, then this could be for you.

The Opportunity

This growing Pharmaceutical Company, with aim to be an indispensable entity in healthcare, is adding Director of MSLs to support a rare disease, neuromuscular product. With launch scheduled in 2020, this person will a have voice in medical affairs strategy and will have an opportunity to work on a multitude of projects including:

• Lead, develop, & manage newly created 5 person MSL team
• Develop and track KPIs
• Assist in the development of MSL training materials
• Conduct field evaluations of the MSL team members
• Assist with the ongoing hiring and on-boarding of new MSL team members

The Manager for the role is seeking strong team players that have a passion for the disease state and patient advocacy.

The Profile

Our client has asked us to introduce this opening to the following candidates:

• PharmD, PhD, or MD
• Minimum of 5 years prior experience as an MSL, ideally in the rare disease or neurology space
• This is NOT a field-based role. You must be able to work from our clients location in the Northern New Jersey area
• Do not have to have prior management experience
