The Opportunity

Our client is seeking a Director of Scientific Collaborations to join their team. In this role, you will build relationships with KOLs and Principal Investigator at leading academic and research centers where you will provide education on trends in RNA based Next Gen Sequencing and how to identify new biomarkers to fight diseases. Additional duties include: 

• Implementing the strategy for the KOL and scientific collaborations program.
• Lead the selling effort in the selling of HTG products into the key translational medicine, core labs and biomarker areas of key academic and governmental research institutes.
• Drive placements and adoption of EdgeSeq instruments and assays.

Profile

Our client has asked us to introduce this opening to the following candidates:

• PhD, Masters, or BS Cellular/Molecular Biology or similar preferred
• Genomics Research background
• Prior sales experience in genomics, next gen sequencing, companion diagnostics, or similar REQUIRED
• Ability to 50% - 60% of the time
