Business Development Manager (Staffing Industry)

The successful candidate must have sales background in agency staffing/recruiting, preferably, within the light industrial sector.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be able to hit the ground running and produce immediate results
• 2-3 years of business-to-business sales experience with a successful track record preferably in staffing, recruiting or similar workforce solutions.
• Experience communicating with business owners and executives of small to mid-sized businesses
• Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to close customers
• Skilled multi-tasker
• An excellent reputation
• Proficient in MS Word, and Excel

Job Responsibilities

• Generating new business through prospecting, cold-calling, professional social media, scheduling appointments, and building relationships
• Manage pipeline data in a sales database, analyze market opportunities and target prospects
• Present solutions, assist in developing presentations and conducting proposal meetings
• Develop trusting relationships
