TMI Coatings, Inc. (TMI) is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to generate leads for our outside sales team.
· TMI IS AN EXPERIENCED, WELL-KNOWN PAINTING AND RESTORATION CONTRACTOR THAT RESTORES AMERICA’S INFRASTRUCTURE. TMI HAS BEEN IN BUSINESS OVER 36 YEARS
· OUR CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE INCLUDES APPLYING COATINGS ON CONCRETE AND STEEL FOR COMPANIES SUCH AS 3M, IBM, TORO, AND CARGILL, AND AT THE COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL SITES OF FORTUNE 1000 COMPANIES
JOB DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
· Call large businesses during normal business hours
· Actively find sales leads for outside sales team members
· Find new customers and contact TMI’s existing customers for new opportunities for our construction services
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Associates or bachelor’s degree
· No experience necessary
· Candidates must be persistent with good organizational and communication skills
· A driven sense of urgency, assertiveness, and high ego-drive are keys for success in this position
PREFERRED SKILLS:
· Enjoy prospecting and have enthusiasm for over the phone business-to-business sales
· Self-motivated, able to work independently, and within TMI’s policies/procedures
· Construction experience and/or commercial paint knowledge is helpful but not required
· Familiar with ACT contact software management
· Business-to-business sales is helpful but not required
TRAINING:
· Sales Representative will train with the existing sales team to gain industry knowledge

· Competitive base salary plus commissions
