    Job Description

    Role: Application ****Manager

    Location: Remote With Travel To Buffalo, NY and Washington DC

    Duration: 6+ Months CTH

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Leadership: Provide strategic leadership to the IT team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
    • Healthcare Application s Management: Oversee the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of digital front door solutions, CDSS, EMR, population health management tools, and Medicare risk management systems.
    • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute IT strategies aligned with our healthcare organization's goals and objectives.
    • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with healthcare IT vendors, ensuring service levels and contractual obligations are met.
    • Data Security and Compliance: Ensure the organization's healthcare IT systems comply with all relevant regulations, including HIPAA, and maintain data security and privacy.
    • Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.
    • Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor IT staff, fostering their professional growth and development.
    • Project Management: Lead IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
    • Collaboration: Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to identify technology needs and opportunities for improvement.
    • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of healthcare IT systems and initiatives.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare IT, with a strong background in digital front door solutions, CDSS, EMR, population health, Medicare risk management, and value-based care.
    • Proven experience in IT leadership roles, with a track record of successful project management and team management.
    • In-depth knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and compliance, including HIPAA.
    • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to think strategically and execute on organizational goals.
