    As the Facilities Technician III, you will be an integral part in the facilities operations across our entire portfolio. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the functionality, safety, and appearance of our properties through diligent maintenance and repairs, while upholding the highest standards of service quality and safety protocols. This is a roving position that will service our properties in the greater Austin area. You will report to the Facilities Manager.

    Key responsibilities :

    • Execute basic and routine facilities maintenance – repairs, and small projects in accordance with established service, quality, and safety standards. Providing consistent updates on work progress, resource requirements, and any emerging issues.
    • Adhere to standard operating procedures while installing, inspecting, repairing, and conducting preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management systems.
    • Utilize our work order system to meticulously log all maintenance and repair activities for efficient tracking and reporting purposes.
    • Collaborate with vendors to ensure the successful completion of projects and complex repairs, maintaining a high level of workmanship and efficiency.
    • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements or optimization to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

    We are looking for someone with :

    • 5-7 years of relevant experience in facilities maintenance, construction, or a related field and demonstrates proficiency in a variety of maintenance tasks and repair techniques.
    • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and safety systems, with the ability to diagnose and address issues effectively.
    • Proficiency in utilizing work order systems or maintenance management software for logging and tracking work activities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with team members and external contractors.
    • High level of initiative and self-motivation, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Commitment to upholding safety standards and regulatory compliance in all work activities.
    • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle to drive to and from job sites.
