    As the Day Porter, you will be an integral part in the facilities operations of two properties in our portfolio, Canopy and Springdale General. Your attention to detail and ability to align with the vision of the property is key to the success of our tenants and visitors. You will report to the Community Manager.

    Key responsibilities :

    • Daily cleaning including mopping, sweeping, trash removal, and maintenance of communal areas, restrooms, and other high traffic areas.
    • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ordering as needed.
    • Respond to tenant requests for maintenance services in a timely and professional manner.
    • Aid with the set up and breakdown of events held at the property.
    • Report any maintenance or safety issues to the Community Manager.
    • Assist in ensuring that property operations are compliant with all applicable regulations.

    We are looking for someone with :

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Previous experience in commercial cleaning or maintenance preferred.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Curiosity to learn more about maintenance.
    • Willingness to work into evenings for events.
    • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
    • Innovative problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform other physically demanding tasks as needed.
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.
    • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle to drive to and from job sites.
