The duties include monitoring the respective AR Aging to identify outstanding balances that are coming due, contacting customers or business partners to notify them of overdue payments and working to resolve any issues, and documenting all collection activities.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Contacting the client to follow up on past due invoices, ensuring full coverage on the assigned portfolio
    • Answering questions customers have about statements or outstanding balances
    • Documenting all actions taken to resolve receivables to payment on your aging and within Great Plains Collections Manager.
    • Assigning tasks within Great Plains Collections Manager for all follow-up actions
    • Assessing receivables, identifying potential issues and coordinating resolution with the client and/or CDIs (Sales Account Rep) and Business Operations, following the documented Accounts Receivable Escalation Path
    • Communicating potential issues to the Business Operations and Revenue Teams and/or requesting assistance for resolution
    • Reconciling discrepancies with Vendor Management System (VMS) data and data
    • Providing periodic statements to client to supplement collection activities, updating the status on all past due receivables
    • Reviewing the A/R aging with the DCD/VPCD/CDI (Sales) and monitoring their clients’ A/R balances on an on-going basis
    • Supporting monthly calls with the Market Leaders to review problematic accounts
    • Maintaining an acceptable Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and minimizing the write offs of uncollected accounts
    • Identifying at-risk items and raising to the Collection Manager to ensure they are included on the Watchlist and quarterly reserve if appropriate
    • Evaluating credit worthiness of new clients and providing a credit review and recommendation to the Business Operations Team

    Must have:

    • Associate degree, BA/BS Preferred
    • 2-5 years of collections, customer service experience is required
    • Experience with CRM, PSA and ERP systems
    • Experience with VMS systems is preferred
