Touch Wireless LLC is a non-profit community outreach organization providing essential services to the communities we serve. For the past 12 years, we have been providing free phones with free service to low-income households through the FCC Lifeline Program and American Connectivity Program via Assurance Wireless.
We are seeking Lifeline Enrollment Representatives to serve as outreach agents at our outreach sites. Your role would be to set up and operate an information desk in a high-foot-traffic outdoor location that we provide where you can find people with low-income government benefits who qualify for the program: DPSS offices, other government offices, grocery stores, transit centers, and others throughout Los Angeles County.
Our agents offer service directly to customers in the immediate area, explain the program, benefits, and qualifications to those who are interested, assist with the application process, and provide free phones with free service directly to those who qualify. You will be expected to approach potential customers and pitch our services to them. The more people you help, the more pay we can offer you.
Full-time Schedule: Monday to Friday only, 8-hour shifts, daytime only. Full time employment is available from day one.
Training Pay: $20+ per hour for first 30 days. Pay scales with performance based on meeting well-defined goals each week. All employees are held to the same standards. Current post-training pay scale: $15 - $52 per hour + monthly bonuses. Pay structure is subject to change throughout the year. We also offer a direct scaling structure where each additional application will increase your pay for a given week--just ask for details!
Room for Growth: All managers, supervisors, and trainers began their career here in this role as a field agent. We always promote from within!
Multiple Locations Available: We will match you with the closest available location for a minimized commute. You will still need to commute to Gardena for monthly team meetings and during your first week of training.

Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have your own vehicle to transport equipment
Able to accurately input data on a touch-screen tablet
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds (to set up your equipment) and walk or stand for up to an hour at a time
