    Associate Manager, Partnership Accounting

    Our client – a progressive Fintech leader serving a range of clients from single and multifamily offices to registered investment advisers, and private trust companies – is currently seeking candidates to fill an Associate Manager, Partnership Accounting position.

    Combining an amazing company culture with proprietary software that consolidates account data from multiple sources, focuses on data integrity, reconciles discrepancies, and offers flexible reporting – this hybrid role will be based out of their Stamford, CT office.

    Responsibilities:

    • Supervise staff, assist to train new staff in company accounting processes.
    • Prepare and review financial statements.
    • Analyze trial balance to make sure the information has been posted correctly.
    • Review monthly funds closing.
    • Manage outside client relationships.
    • Interact with other internal groups on behalf of Funds Accounting group.
    • Oversee daily cash reconciliations.
    • Oversee funds which have been assigned (both client and company funds).

    Skills & Knowledge:

    • BA/BS in Accounting.
    • 10+ years of Fund Accounting experience.
    • Financial Services and Hedge Fund experience.
    • Management experience.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong professionalism.
    • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
    • Experienced proofreader.
    • Detail-oriented.
    • Accurate and timely follow-up and responsiveness.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

    Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of Partnership.
