  • Responsibilities

    Our client, a successful financial technology and services company, currently seeks a motivated and experienced candidate to serve as a Senior Citrix Support Engineer. The Sr. Citrix Engineer who will be responsible for designing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting the company’s CVAD and DaaS infrastructure. This role will also develop detailed documentation for business areas, management, and strategic planning and implementation. Daily tasks include, but are not limited to, troubleshooting, and resolving issues, monitoring and tracking, auditing, consulting with other departments to resolve systems issues, and analyzing, recommending, and implementing system changes.

    Responsibilities:

    • Citrix Solution Design and Implementation.
    • Provide solutions to business problems using CVAD and DaaS architectures.
    • Publish applications using the Management Console.
    • Design Citrix solutions involving CVAD and DaaS technology.
    • Interface with networking personnel to implement, support and troubleshoot CVAD and DaaS perimeter architectures.
    • Install and configure Storefront.
    • Maintain up-to-date documentation of all phases of Citrix implementation.
    • Stay current with emerging technologies including XENServer, VMWare, VDI and application virtualization.
    • Build Citrix Servers in both physical and virtual environments.
    • Support and Maintain Citrix Environment.
    • Monitor the Citrix environment using Director and other native, including 3rd party utilities.
    • Work with other IT departments to troubleshoot application issues.
    • Resolve performance issues with a proven methodology.
    • Resolve ICA client/VDA issues.
    • Perform Software and HW upgrades.
    • Maintain OS/3rd Party apps Patch Levels.
    • Provides Server Support and Implementation
    • Perform server OS builds.
    • Troubleshoot Windows Server and Desktop Operating systems and Active Directory issues, DNS, DHCP, and IP Issues.
    • Participate in weekly working group status calls with infosec and infrastructure working groups as needed. Participate in daily infrastructure meeting held at EST afternoons.
    • Flexibility to participate in on call support some weeknights and weekends where needed for implementation checkout or triage.

    Requirements:

    • Computer Science BS/Engineering.
    • 5-7 Years of relevant experience.
    • Must be well versed in Active Directory, ESX Server Virtualization and server hardware technologies.
    • Familiarity with other types of virtualization technologies such as VDI and Application virtualization.

    Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in financially regulated environments (SEC, OCC, Federal Reserve, FINRA, SOC 1 and SOC 2, etc.) preferred.
