Accounting Finance Management Consultant

**Location: Remote (must be in the US), CA or Washington DC preferred
W2 FT or 1099 CTR **

We are seeking a dedicated Accounting Finance Management Consultant to collaborate with our Client. This role involves developing and updating policies and procedures for various financial and IT operations, including but not limited to financial management, IT security, budget, procurement, and fundraising, to enhance internal controls, documented processes, and knowledge transfer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with the Client to create and refine policies and procedures, including managing the project management aspects of the policies and procedures cycle.
• Strengthen the Client’s internal controls and improve process documentation.
• Enhance knowledge capture and transfer across the organization.
• Manage projects, providing regular updates to the Executive Assistant and Division heads on progress and upcoming tasks.
• Meet with stakeholders to understand and document current operations and workflows.
• Incorporate feedback and edits, ensuring documents are reviewed by relevant stakeholders.
• Present finalized documents to the Client Management Team.
• Develop a roadmap for current and future document needs.
• Maintain effective communication with various stakeholders throughout the process.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, management, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of accounting
• Familiarity with IT security policy
• Experience in policy and procedure development.
• Strong project management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
