Job Description

Works closely with technical leaders to develop and implement optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards; recommend and implement improvements to production processes, methods and controls. This position is based at our composites manufacturing sites in Newton IA, approximately 30 miles east of Des Moines

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop Asset Library – Plugs, Molds, Fixtures
  • Drawing, Version, Value, ID & Tagging, Location
  • Storage Footprint
  • Processes for keeping information current
• Light Project Management Support
• Engineering Change Processes Implementation & Control
• Commercial: Bill of Material & Labor Reporting Tools
• Developing and improving manufacturing processes

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Technical Focus
  • Mechanical, Aeronautical, Civil Engineering
  • Industrial Engineering/Industrial Technology
  • Computer Science
  • Chemistry
• GPA 3.0 or higher
• Junior or Senior Level
• Demonstrated Extracurricular Leadership Activities
