    Job Description

    The Program Management Intern provides general support to TPI Composites’ Commercial and Technical Program Management teams. Actual project assignments vary depending on the successful candidate’s skill set and interests but could include several important areas such as:

     Financial modeling, business intelligence and analytics, research, commercial negotiation support, internal and customer reporting, and customer proposals.  Review, understand, and communicate customer requirements and changes, and TPI manufacturing and quality processes.  Manage exceptions and differences between TPI sites; drive global standardization efforts; work with various teams during new program launches, support product transfer to a different TPI sites; support continuous improvement and material cost-out programs.

    Location:  THIS POSITION IS BASED IN TPI COMPOSITES’ OFFICE IN NEWTON, IA.

    • Plans, schedules, and develops proposals, including assembly of proposal elements, e.g. strategy, design, cost, qualifications, etc. in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications and internal team input.
    • Accountable for ensuring proposals are responsive to RFP requirements.
    • Develops and drives timeline and internal and external proposal process coordination.
    • Develops & implements customer program process & documentation to ensure sustainable program execution
    • Work collaboratively with a region’s business development, operations team, and national service lines to develop compelling proposal responses.
    • Manage all aspects of proposal development including writing the scope of work, coordinating budget development, project management, proposal design, and compliance management.
    • Interest in international business and/or manufacturing sectors.
    • Support standardization and reporting of and maintain Bill of Materials.
    • Support the manufacturing launch of new/revised products or requirements.
    • Confer with Management, Engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate customer requests.
    • Confer with related departments concerning product design and tooling to ensure customer requirements are met.
    • Support other TPI sites during product transfers.
    • Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business
    • Interest in the global renewable energy market
    • Fluency in Spanish desirable, not required
