    Job Description

    The Senior Analyst reports to the Senior Vice President, Global Services and works closely with the Regional Service Managers as well as with internal executive staff. This position is based in TPI Composites’ headquarters office in Scottsdale, Arizona. UP TO 50% TRAVEL (DOMESTIC / INTERNATIONAL) WILL BE REQUIRED.

    THE SENIOR ANALYST HAS THE FOLLOWING PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provides commercial support to the Global Services staff and project team comprised of four staff each responsible for one or more global customer manufacturing programs with annual revenues of $50m to $750m each.
    • Manages the quarterly Global Services forecasting process (including Internal Audit requirements) in support of the company’s financial reporting and business planning.
    • Develops and manages a variety of financial models to analyze new business opportunities, commercial issues, contract analysis, and other business analysis.
    • Supports the timely delivery of the monthly Global Service reports and other deliverables for meetings with senior management.
    • Provides additional commercial support to the team on new business and major product transition proposals, and other business development activities.
    • Develops and manages business intelligence tools and reports using data sources from multiple teams in the company and presenting unified, current, and integrated reports.
    • Participates in customer meetings and negotiations as needed to understand analysis and support requirements.
    • Leads the research and creation of business cases and commercial recommendations for internal review and approval.
    • Supports the cost estimation, financial analysis, and price quotation process for product options specified in contracts, or as requested by customers.
    • Conducts customer-specific, market, and competitive research.
    • Follows all company policies in effect including TPI Code of Conduct and Code of Ethics, Travel & Expense Policy, Safety Policy, and other policies as applicable.
    • Contributes to a safe work environment through proactive reporting of safety concerns and risks, following all safety procedures, and making suggestions to improving safety of the company’s operations.
    • Other assignments as determined by the Senior Vice President, Global Services.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    The incumbent will have the following minimum experience and qualifications:

    • Five (5) to ten (10) years of consulting or financial analysis experience including financial statements modeling, discounted cash flow, IRR, cost estimates and pricing models, and similar financial analysis.
    • Demonstrated ability to define, manage, and lead projects from inception to successful conclusion with minimal oversight.
    • Comfortable with working in a highly dynamic, matrix reporting environment while managing and delivering on competing priorities.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Expert in Microsoft Excel model creation and management using best practices for model design, data management, quality assurance, and reporting.
    • Experienced with data analytics and business intelligence software such as Microsoft Power BI or similar platforms including creating data queries, reports, dashboards, and compelling visualizations of business data.
    • Experienced with Microsoft Sharepoint site creation and management including libraries, lists, and other applications.
    • Experienced with various forms of contracts and commercial topics such as ordering, raw materials supply chain, deliveries, payment terms, liquidated damages, and warranty.
    • BA Accounting, Finance or equivalent degree.

     

    ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE INCLUDE:

    • Experience with international business and/or manufacturing sectors.
    • MBA.
    • Experience with Oracle ERP systems.
    • Experience and interest in the renewable energy market.
