TQI Solutions is currently seeking a Data Analyst ready to deliver outstanding support to our Navy client located in Norfolk, VA. JOB DESCRIPTION: The candidate will work collaboratively with a team of professionals providing high quality customer data analysis support throughout the customer base. Job Duties Include:

1. Support statistical analysis by leveraging cluster analysis, time series, multivariable regression, etc.

2. Be able to support data interpretation as it relates to design/engineering, new construction, and/or software programming, as required.

3. Identify and describe data elements and data files/tables required to complete assigned projects and make recommendations regarding the creation of analytical reports.

4. Ensure the reports and data developed achieves client organizational and/or business goals.

5. Assist in data mining, analysis, and reporting to support client organizations and initiatives; monitor performance and manage parameters providing fast query responses to front-end users.

6. Perform various analyses using data drawn from diverse sources to map and identify genuine trends and relationships.

7. Develop the conceptual design for a planned statistical database in outline; refine the logical design so that it can be translated into a specific data model; and maintain data standards.

  REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree in Business/Computer Science/Software Engineering or related field, or one year of job-related experience may be substituted for each year of college.

• Minimum of one year job-related experience with analyzing large datasets utilizing statistical software packages, such as VBA, and the advanced analytical features of MS Excel or MS Access.

• Knowledge of data processing, and reporting systems.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven customer services skills.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills.

• Must have a great attention to detail and analytical work while multi-tasking.

• Proficiency with VBA development, and the use of VISIO.

• Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.

DESIRED:

• Familiarity with the financial management and the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process a plus.

• Must be highly organized, able to manage and maintain many clients simultaneously.
