    TQI Solutions is actively seeking a 3M Optimization Analyst to join our team in Norfolk, VA.

    Responsibilities:

    • Support / track USFF Condition-Based Maintenance Plus (CBM+) efforts and work with US Fleet Forces N43 Naval Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (NMRO) staff to ensure alignment of functional capability requirements.
    • Leverage prior experience with Shipboard Planned Maintenance System (PMS) and demonstrate the ability to work alongside Type Commander (TYCOM) 3-M leaders to identify PMS optimization candidates.
    • Support USFF “Self Sufficiency” Line of Effort by developing Job Performance Aids to support personnel with completion of maintenance tasks.
    • Support CBM+ efforts by facilitate meetings, drafting meeting agendas/minutes and spearheading outreach communications to key stakeholders .

    This is a full time, salaried, exempt position.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or other related scientific or technical discipline.

    • Minimum of ten (10) years of recent experience in the Organizational, Intermediate, and Depot maintenance of US Navy ships/submarines, including specific experience with legacy maintenance data systems. Prior INSURV, shipyard, maintenance program management, and/or flag staff experience highly desired.

    • Ability to support CBM+ and align functional capability requirements.

    • Ability to work with TYCOM 3-M leaders to identify potential PMS reduction candidates.

    • Demonstrated expertise in Navy Surface Ship Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul processes and programs.

    • Ability to analyze maintenance and operational system data to evaluate training adequacy.

    • Demonstrated familiarity with Navy 3-M program (PMS/MDS) and Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM).

    • Ability to communicate across various levels, including facilitating large meetings, creating meeting agendas and minutes, and leading outreach communications such as newsletters and email updates.

    • Demonstrated knowledge of Navy organizations and the working relationships of Echelon I, II, and III commands.

    • Understanding of afloat unit material deficiency reporting methods, including Casualty Reports (CASREP) and work notifications produced by Maintenance Data Systems. Proven experience analyzing documented deficiencies and determining equipment and mission limitations.

    The incumbent of this position will be subject to a background investigation and will be required to maintain a Government granted security clearance.
