Our Client, a global food company, is looking to add to their team a Bilingual Logistics Coordinator. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for delivering a high level of customer service through the effective use of organizational skills and constant communication. The position plans and coordinates all aspects of logistics planning and customer service for customers nationwide.

What You’ll Do:

Order processing / Domestic logistics

• Check the status of customers' accounts receivable prior to placing the order.

• Receive processes and executes customer orders and audits for accuracy and completeness.

• Release orders to the warehouses.

• Coordinate transportation on delivered shipments using approved carriers.

• Process customer invoices; validate pricing, terms, accessorial charges, etc.

• Ensure prompt dispatch of invoices to customers to allow payment within terms.

• Send EDI invoices through SPS Commerce.

• Help identify lot problems & assist with lot tracking.

• Audit and process supplier invoices, including freight and commodity bills; liaises with the supplier when clarification or changes are needed.

• Send samples & marketing materials to brokers.

• Maintain inland freight rates to identify trends in rates and efficiency.

• Customer Service

• Act as primary contact with customers on any operations-related issue, including order problems and delivery or stock availability issues.

• Process customer claims.

• Resolves all non-routine issues that could adversely affect customer service.

• Inform sales and logistics management of any non-routine issues.
   

 What You’ll Need:

• Bilingual required (English and Spanish).

• Has a minimum of a high school degree (bachelor’s preferred) in an industry-related field from an accredited post-secondary institution.

• Has a minimum of three (3) years of increasingly responsible industry related experience in supply chain.

• Abilities to deal effectively and professionally with all types of individuals.

• Possesses excellent communication skills to include written, verbal and interpersonal.

• Demonstrates a high degree of accuracy, detail and results orientation.

• Proficiencies in Microsoft Office Suite as well as proficiency in internet usage.

• Abilities to multi-task are paramount for this position.
